KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classroom Support:
Work alongside our experienced teachers to assist in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.
Bilingual Assistance:
Provide essential language support in both English and Mandarin, ensuring all students can access the
curriculum and thrive.
Individual & Group Support:
Lead small group activities, offer one-to-one student support, and help foster an inclusive and adaptive
learning environment.
Resource Development:
Contribute to creating innovative and bilingual teaching materials.
School Community:
Participate in school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities to fully experience school life.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
QUALIFICATIONS
University student for bachelor’s degree in education related major.
languages
Native Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
Previous experience with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering).
Any TA experience is desirable.
Competencies
Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
Cultural sensitivity and a willingness to be part of an international community.
Aptitudes
A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their development.
A teaching qualification or an interest in pursuing a PGCE or other teaching qualification in the future.
Energy, creativity, and a proactive approach to learning new skills.
